Seasons

We have all gone through different seasons in life. Some seasons are exceptionally fruitful and in some not so. But every season, there is someone who stands with us and comforts us. In our days of loss and hardship He doesn’t leave us alone to suffer but gives us His peace that surpasses all understanding and love that carries us forward into a greater morrow. He doesn’t leave us in our mess.

“He who planted the ear, shall He not hear? He who formed the eye, shall He not see?” “In my distress I called upon the LORD, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.” “Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble, And He saved them out of their distresses.”

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” “You number my wanderings; Put my tears into Your bottle; Are they not in Your book?” “The LORD has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.” “And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

“Those who go out weeping, carrying seed to sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with them.” “Is the seed still in the barn? As yet the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree have not yielded fruit. But from this day I will bless you. ” “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” “Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’”

“For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

“God is not human, that he should lie, not a human being, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?”

Lord Jesus take us through this season and restore us to greater glory.
